Term and Conditions
Here at Smart Fox, we strive to keep things simple – including all legal matters.
All orders placed with Smart Fox Box are subject to the following terms and conditions:
ORDERING:
- Please ensure that you order the correct SMART FOX Box for you little one’s age.
PRICING
- Our prices on all Smart Fox Boxes and products in our Online Shop are inclusive of VAT.
- We reserve the rights to amend prices on products where need be.
- Customers will be refunded their full amount of payment on incorrect priced products.
SHIPPING & DELIVERING
- Free PARGO delivery to any of the 4000+ PARGO points nationwide is available to orders done via our online store that meet or exceed a value of R900-00 including VAT. Please select the correct PARGO point for collection. Our prices exclude door-to-door delivery.
- For door-to-door delivery nationwide, we make use of various local, reputable couriers. We do offer door-to-door delivery as an option, with an additional fee of R120-00.
- Door-to-door deliveries are sent to the address, not the person, so if the person is not available, the order may be left with a person at that address e.g. security, staff, reception, etc. Delivery of goods shall be made to the customer at the place specified in the customer’s acceptance of the order/ invoice or as agreed in writing between the parties.
- All orders will be shipped within 10 working days of ordering.
- Delivery takes place Mondays to Sundays. Delivery times may not be precise and cannot be guaranteed due to external factors such as traffic, weather, etc.
- It is mandatory to leave a telephone or mobile number for the courier company to contact you during delivery hours.
- Smart Fox Box reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time in line with any increases from the courier company.
- Delivery time is based on the delivery address for each order from when proof of payment is received.
- Delivery can take between 1 to 10 working days.
- Smart Fox Box will ensure that the correct items are dispatched as per invoice and will only be responsible for the collection of goods that have been dispatched in error.
- We advise customers to check the goods upon receipt, before signing for the delivery (also see LIABILITY/RISK).
RECIPIENT INFORMATION
Delivery details are at the sender’s discretion. To ensure your order arrives at the correct destination, please ensure that you choose the correct PARGO POINT and/or provide the correct address and contact details on the delivery form. Kindly note, if the recipient’s details prove to be incorrect from our side, re-delivery can be arranged at the cost of the sender. Please send us an email if you did not receive your parcel.
REDELIVERY
Should you be unable to collect your parcel on time, or should you be unavailable to receive your package on the day of delivery, redelivery will be arranged at your convenience. A redelivery fee will be charged.
LIABILITY / RISK:
Whilst every effort is made to dispatch your order carefully, Smart Fox Box is not liable for any damages that may occur to goods in transit. Smart Fox Box accepts no liability for any goods lost or damaged whilst in transit. Risk with respect to all goods (in terms of loss, damage, theft, etc) will pass to the customer at the time of dispatch from Smart Fox Box Warehouse. We advise customers to check the goods upon receipt, before signing for the delivery.
COMPLAINTS
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In the very unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the condition of the Smart Fox Box, please send an email to admin@smartfoxbox.com with your order reference number, your complaint, and a photo of the damaged product. Replacements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
MISSING SOMETHING FROM YOUR BOX?
If you are missing something from your box, our team will ensure that the missing item is send promptly. We do however double-check and video-record every box before handing it over to the courier to ensure that you receive your full order, in excellent condition. Once a parcel is collected by the courier, it becomes the responsibility of the client to track and collect the order.
REFUND POLICY: Smart Fox Boxes
- Once a Smart Fox Programme Box/Other Box is bought, refunds are not available. We are committed to provide you and your child with meaningful, monthly, educational activities and equipment aimed at your child’s stage of development.
REFUND POLICY: Goods from Online Shop
- We have a 30-day return policy on toys/clothing bought from the online shop, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- To start a return, you can contact us at admin@smartfoxbox.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
OPERATIONAL HOURS
Smart Fox operates from Monday to Friday 7.30am-15.00pm. All orders and enquiries received outside thereof will be processed during the next business day.
